A Pocket of Wonder
An energetic, vibrant yet calming painting, created in a lose abstract style depicting Spring flowers across my local landscape of Epsom Downs. This particular walk is in part of the Centenery Wood area of Llangley Vale, developed in recent years to commemorate the First World War. In the warmer seasons it is a haven for wildlife among the flora and fauna and the vast skies, that I love the Downs for, seem endless when walking across the meadows. I have tried to capture some of the wonderful feelings being in a place like this can bring, hence the title of this painting.
