Walton Heath is a landscape inspired by one of my local dog walks. It is actually part of Walton Heath Golf Club - not my usual kind of scene but I love how you can see for miles into the distance and the sky was stunningly vivid azure blue; so vast and open. It's that which really caught my eye that morning - the quiet paths can be quite tranquil and perfect for contemplating and losing your thoughts in the calmness of the day.
 
Transport yourself to somewhere that makes you feel that way, if you're local to Surrey you may even know the exact spot, or maybe you might look for it one day.
 
The original of this piece is not available however these high quality canvas prints are available in two sizes, both have a depth of 19mm  - the sides can be wrapped with the image or can be chosen in white for a more contemporary look.
